Jhene channeled her pain and sorrow into her music and dedicated the song “For My Brother” to Miyagi. He was ill for two years and fought the good fight. It turned out to be an inoperable brain tumor. He would never let his friends know that he was sick. Despite his illness, he was always in good spirits. When Miyagi learned that he had a brain tumor he turned to Buddhism. They were very close and would often get high together and have serious discussions about life.
